שׁוּבְּלָה‏ n.f./(m.) ear of grain

ear of grain JLAtg, Gal, PTA, CPA, Sam, Syr, JBA, Man, LJLA. TgO Gen41:5 : וְהָא שַבַע שוּבלִין סָלְקָן בְקַניָא חַד פַטִימָן וְטָבָן‏ seven ears of grain were emerging from a single stalk, fat and fine ones. GT E Gen41:7 : ובלעין שבל{ת}^ייה^ דקיקתה ית שבעתי שבלייה ברייתה ומלייתה‏ the skinny ears swallow the seven healthy and full ears of grain. PJ Gen41:7 : ובלען תובלייא לקייתא ית שבע תובלייא פטימתא ומלייתא‏ . PJ Gen41:26 : ושבע שובלייא טבתא‏ . שובלי זיתיא‏ : olive branches (?) [Heb.!] JLAtg. TgJ Zec4:12 : מָא תַרתֵין שוּבלֵי זֵיתַיָ‏ [MT מַה־שְׁתֵּי שִׁבֲּלֵי הַזֵּיתִים] †.

The LJLA form תובל at PsJon 41:5,6, 23, 24 is a scribal "aramaizing" hypercorrection; note the correct form at v. 47; yet another example of the "Kaufman" effect (see e.g. http://www.sbl-site.org/meetings/Congresses_Abstracts.aspx?MeetingId=4).
