שַׁלְמוּ‏ n.f. perfection

perfection, completion, perfect behavior JLAtg, CPA, Sam, Syr, LJLA. TgJ Jos24:14 : דְחִילוּ מִן קְֹדָם יְיָ וֻפלַחוּ קְֹדָמוֹהִי בְשַלמוּתָא וֻבקֻשטָא‏ fear the Lord and worship him perfectly and honestly. TgPs25:21 : שלמת<ו>א ותריצותא יטרונני‏ righteousness and proper behavior shall protect me. TgPs41:13 : ואנא בשלמותי סעדתא בי ואוקימתני קדמך לעלמא‏ because of my righteousness You helped me and set me up before you forever. בשלמותא‏ : adv. : really and truly JLAtg. TgJ Jos24:14 : וֻפלַחוּ קְֹדָמוֹהִי בְשַלמוּתָא וֻבקֻשטָא‏ worship Him really and truly.
