  report, news, rumor  Qumran, JLAtg, Sam, Syr, LJLA.  4QVisAmramc01.2.16 : שמועת קרב‏  a battle report.  TgJ 2Sam13:30 : וַהְוָה עַד דְאִנוּן בְאוֹרחָא וֻשמוּעְתָא אְתָת לְוָת דָוִיד‏  then while they were still on the road the report had reach David.  TgPs112:7 : משמועתא בישתא לא ידחל‏  he fears not the bad news.
