sharp edge, blade of a sword Qumran, JLAtg, Syr, LJLA. 11QtgJob 33.5=39:23 : שנן ונזך וחרף סיף‏ blade, spear, and sharpness of sword. TgJ Jud3:22 : וְעָל אַף דַסתְקָא בָתַר שַנְנָא וְטַמטֵם שֻומנָא בְאַפֵי שַנְנָא‏ the handle went in behind the blade and the fat sealed over the blade.
