שִׁרְיָן‏ n.m. #3 mail, armor

mail, armor JLAtg, Syr, LJLA. TgO Ex28:32 : עוֹבָד מָחֵי כְפוֹם שִריָן יְהֵי לֵיה דְלָא יִתבְזַע‏ weaver's work: it should have a surface like that of chain-mail so it may not be torn apart. TgSong6:8 : מלובשין שריונין רכיבי על סוסון‏ dressed in armor and riding on horses. TgIIChron 18:33 : ומחא ית מלכא דישראל ביני לבא וביני חצר כבדא מאתר מדבקייה דשריינא‏ he struck the king of Israel between the heart and the liver lobe through the chinks of the armor.
