שׁוּתָף   n.m.  associate, partner

associate  JLAtg, Gal, PTA, CPA, Sam, Syr, JBA, Man, LJLA.  TgJ Is1:23 : רַברְבַך מָרָדִין וְשוּתָפִין לְגַנָבִין.  FTP Ex20:13 : לא חברין ולא שותפין עם קטולין  neither friends nor partners with murderers.  FTP Num31:50 : דלא נהוי שותף עמה בגיהנם לעלמא דאתי  so that I should not share with her in Gehenna in the world to come.

From Akkadian šutappu from Sumerian ŠU.TAB, "partner".

The JLA passage at TgJ Is59:3 "hands associated with blood" is almost certainly an error in the "scholarly" texts for a form of שטף, i.e. "drenched in blood".
