שֵׁיזָבָה‏ v.n.Q refuge; remnant

refuge, deliverance JLAtg, Gal, PTA. TgO Num35:12 : קִרוַיָא לְשֵיזָבָא מִגָאֵל דְמָא‏ cities for refuge from the blood avenger. TN Ex21:13 : קרי שיזבה‏ a city of refuge.

remnant JLAtg, PTA, LJLA. TgO Ex10:5 : וְיֵיכוֹל יָת שְאָר שֵיזָבְתָא דְאִשתַאַרַת לְכוֹן‏ it will consume the rest of the remnant you had left over. TN Gen45:7 : שלחני ייי קדמיכון למשויא לכון שיזבא/שיזבו/ בארעא‏ The Lord sent me before you to make a remnant for you in the land. TN Num21:35 : ושצון יתיה ٠٠٠ עד די לא שיירו לה שזבא‏ They destroyed him ... until they left no remnant for him. PJ Gen45:7 : לשואה לכון שיורא בארעא ולקיימא לכון לשיזבא רבא‏ .
