עֲלָּה עֲלָּתָא‏ n.f. burnt offering; altar

burnt offering, sacrifice Com^-OA^-Bab. Ezra6:9 : בְנֵי תוֹרִין וְדִכְרִין וְאִמְּרִין לַעֲלָוָן לֶאֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא‏ oxen, rams, and lambs for burnt offerings to the God of Heaven. GenApoc 21.20 : עלא ומנחא לאל עליון‏ burnt offering and meal offering to the most high God. TgO Gen8:20 : וְאַסֵיק עֲלָוָן עַל מַדבְחָא‏ . TN Gen22:3 : ופצע קיסין לעלה‏ he split wood for the sacrifice.
