  humble, poor person  Com-OfA-Syr.  Dan4:24 : בְּמִחַן עֲנָיִן  by showing mercy to poor people.  11QtgJob 25.4=34:28 : וקבילת ענין ישמע  he hears the complaint of the poor .  TgO Deut15:11 : תִפתַח יָת יְדָך לְאַחוּך לְעַניָך וֻלמִסכֵינָך בְאַרעָך.  TgPs22:25 : לא שאיט צלותהון דעניי  the prayer of the poor is not despised.
