עִיּוּל‏ n.m. dust (??)

dust (?) JLAtg. TgJ Is40:15 : הָא עַמְמַיָא כְטִיפָא מִדוּל וֻכעִיוּל מֹאזְנַיָא חְשִיבִין‏ look how the nations are considered but a drop from a bucket and dust of scales.

A highly uncertain form, although the meaning is clear. We believe it simply to be a corruption of עפר. If correct, however, then it is a v.n. from ˁll "to glean."
