אֲדוֹמָי‏   adj.  Edomite


  Edomite or Idumaean  JLAtg, PTA, CPA, Sam, Syr, LJLA.  TgO Deut23:8 : לָא תְרַחֵיק אֲדוֹמָאָה אֲרֵי אַחוּך הוּא‏  you must not drive out the Edomite for he is your brother.  TN Gen36:9 : עשו אבוהון דאדומיי‏  Esau, the father of the Edomites.  TN Gen36:31 : ואלין מלכיא די מלכו בארעהון דאדומיי‏  these are the kings who reigned in the land of the Edomites.

  Roman  JBA, LJLA.  TgEsth2sup4.1-01:2 : ואדומאי יתאחדון כנוני ימא וישתיצון מן עלמא‏  the Romans will be caught like the fish of the sea and be eliminated from the world.
