אִסָּד‏ n.m. head-rest, pillow

headrest, pillow JLAtg, PTA, Sam, Syr, JBA, Man, LJLA. TgJ 1K19:6 : וְאִסתַכִי וְהָא אִסָדוֹהִי חֲרָרָא מְעָפְפָא וֻצלוֹחִיתָא דְמַיָא‏ he looked and there at his headrest was a folded over (or: doubled?) cake and a pitcher of water. FTP Gen28:11 : אסודי רישיה‏ his head rest. PJ Gen28:10 : ניסא תניינא ארבעתי אבניא דשוי איסדוי אשכח יתהון בצפרא לאבנא חדא‏ the second miracle was that in the morning he found the four stones he had placed as his headrest had turned into a single stone.
