טוֹטְפָה   n.f.  phylactery


  head or arm ornament  JLAtg.  TgJ 2Sam1:10 : וֻנסֵיבִית כְלִילָא דְעַל רֵישֵיה וְטוֹטַפתָא דְעַל דְרָעוֹהִי.  TgJ Ez24:23 : וְטוֹטְפָתְכוֹן בְרֵישֵיכוֹן.

  phylactery, i.e., an ornament distinctive of Jewish ritual  JBA, JBAg, Man, LJLA.  TgEsth2 8:15(3) : טוטפן דמקבעי׳ בדהבא  phylacteries embedded with gold (and containing the name of God) †.
