בְּרֵישִׁית‏ n.m. The Beginning

The Beginning , i.e., Creation JLAtg, Gal, PTA, Sam, Syr, Man, LJLA. TgJ 2Sam23:5 : כְמָא דְקַיָימִין סִדרֵי בְרֵאשִית‏ as long as the ordered structures of Creation last. TN Gen1:5 : עבד בראשית‏ . PJ Num34:6 : הינון מי בראשית‏ these are the waters (first created) at the Creation. mn b' : from Creation, at Creation JLAtg, Gal, Syr, LJLA. TgJ Is66:9 : אְנָא אְלָהָא בְרֵית עָלְמָא מִבְרֵישִית‏ . TgPs50:1 : מליל מן בראשית וקרא למעבד ארעא‏ He spoke at Creation and ordered the World to be made.
