בַּר־אֱנָשׁ בַּרְנָשׁ‏ n.m. human, person

human, person Com. 4QEnGiants^c14.4 : ל]א֗ יתב בין בני אנש ולא אלף מנהון‏ he does not dwell among men and does not learn from them. TgJ Is51:12 : בַר אְנָשָא דִכעִסבָא חְשִי‏ a human being who is worth but grass. TN Gen1:27 : וברא ממרה דייי ית בר נשא בדמותיה בדמו מן קדם ייי ברה יתיה דכר וזוגיה ברא יתהון‏ . PJ Lev20:6 : ובר נש דיסטי בתר שאלי בידין ٠٠٠ ואיתן פנויתא למעסוק בבר נשא ההוא‏ [MT: וְהַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר תִּפְנֶה אֶל־הָאֹבֹת וְאֶל־הַיִּדְּעֹנִים לִזְנוֹת אַחֲרֵיהֶם וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־פָּנַי בַּנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא: note especially the distinction between נפש here and איש in the previous laws, rendered instead as גברא in the targum].
