בְּסִיס‏ n.f./m. base, basis

base, pedestal Palmyrene, Nabatean, JLAtg, Gal, PTA, CPA, Sam, Syr, LJLA. TgO Ex30:18 : וְתַעְבֵיד כִיוֹרָא דִנחָשָא וֻבסִיסֵיה דִנחָשָא‏ . TN Ex30:18 : ותעבד כיור דנחש ובסיס דידה דנחש‏ and you should make a bronze basin, and (you should make) its base of bronze. PJ Ex30:18 . PJ Ex40:30 : ושוי ית כיורא על בסיסיה ביני משכן זימנא וביני מדבחא‏ place the basin on its base between the tent of the meeting and the altar.
