בּוּצִין‏ n.m. lamp

lamp Hatran, Gal, CPA, Sam, JBA, LJLA. PJ Gen24:67 : ומן יד נהרת בוצינא דטפת בזמן דמיתת שרה‏ the lamp that had died out when Sarah died illuminated immediately. wick, candle JLAtg, CPA, Syr. TgJ Is43:17 : דְעִיכוּ כְבוֹצִין עָמֵי טְפוֹ‏ they were extinguished and died out like a dimmed wick. oil containing cup on a candelabrum JLAtg, Sam. TgJ Zec4:2 : וְשִבעָה בוֹצִינַהָא דַעֲלַה שִבעָה וְשִבעָה דִמרִיקִין מִנְהוֹן מִשחַא לְבוֹצִינַיָא דְעַל רֵישַה‏ while its seven cups that were on (the menorah), seven each, were pouring out oil from them into the cups on its top.
