צוק‏ n.m. precipice

precipice, i.e., the Hebrew name of the mountain top where the scape-goat was released PTA, LJLA. TNM Lev16:8 : ועדב חד למפטור למדבר צוק לעזזל‏ one lot for releasing (a goat) to the desert 'precipice' for Azazel†. PJ Lev16:10 .
