דָּוֵי‏ adj. unfortunate, miserable

weak, miserable, wretched JLAtg, CPA, Syr, Man, LJLA. TgJ 1K20:43 : וַאֲזַל מַלכָא דְיִשרָאֵל לְבֵיתֵיה נְסִיס וְדָוֵי‏ the king of Israel went to his house vexed and miserable. DMordecai:45 : היך ריחוק בזעא דלבוש איתתא דוותא‏ as one abominates the hole-filled garment of a wretched woman.
