גִּנֵיאַךְ   n.m.  an installation of idolatry


  גִנֵיאַך טָעְוָתָא‏ : an installation of idolatry  JLAtg.  TgJ Is1:29 .  TgJ Is65:3 : דָבְחִין בְגִנֵיאַך טָעַוָתָא  they sacrifice in the idolatrous g' †.  TgJ Is66:17 : ְ דְמִזדָמְנִין וֻדמִדַכַן לְגִנֵיאַך טָעְוָתָא  who frequent and purify themselves into idolatrous g....

This is a difficult form of dubious meaning. Obviously the targum is concerned to render MT גנות in a way that expresses a pagan context, but whether the text is correct or what the precise meaning of the term would be escapes us. Nor do variants that split it into two words (see Levy make much sense.
