גַּרְגִּישָׁה‏ n.f. clay; clod

clay JLAtg, Syr, JBA, Man, LJLA. TgJ 1K7:46 : בְמֵישַר יַרדְנָא אַתֵיכִנֻון מַלכָא בְעוֹבִי גַרגִישְתָא‏ the King cast them in the thick clay ground. PJ Lev6:21 : ויסתפן בגרגישתא וישתטיף במוי‏ it should be stopped up with a lump of clay and flushed in the water .
