גִּוְיָה‏ n.f. body

body JLAtg, Sam, Man, LJLA. TgJ 1Sam2:9 : גִויָת עַבדוֹהִי צַדִיקַיָא יִטַר מִגֵיהִנָם וְרַשִיעַיָא בְגֵיהִנָם בַחְשוֹכָא יִדְדָנוּן‏ may He protect the bodies of his righteous servants from Gehenna while the wicked are judged in Gehenna in the darkness. TgJ Is65:6 : וְאַמסַר לְמוֹתָא תִניָנָא יָת גִויָתְהוֹן‏ I shall deliver their bodies to the second death. PJ Gen7:23 : ושיצי ית כל גווית אינש ובעיר דעל אנפי ארעא‏ . as the source of sexual desire JLAtg. TgO Gen13:13 : וְאַנשֵי סְדֹם בִישִין בְמָמוֹנְהוֹן וְחַיָיבִין בְגִיויָתְהוֹן קדם יוי לַחדָא‏ before God the people of Sodom were very wicked with their money and sinful with their bodies.
