כְּרֶס כַּרְסָא‏   n.f.  abdomen


  abdomen  Gal, PTA, CPA, Syr, JBA, LJLA.  TN Ex29:22 : וית תרבה דחפי ית כרסה‏  the fat that covers the abdomen.  PJ Num5:22 : ויעלון מיא בדוקיא האילין במעייכי למנפחא כריסן ולמסייא ירכונין‏  [MT: וּבָאוּ הַמַּיִם הַמְאָרְרִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּמֵעַיִךְ לַצְבּוֹת בֶּטֶן וְלַנְפִּל יָרֵךְ].   (of a ruminant) rumen  JBAg, LJLA.  PJ Lev1:9 : וכריסא וריגלוי יחליל במיא‏ .

  womb, uterus  JLAtg, Gal, Syr, JBA, Man, LJLA.  TgJ Amos4:13tos : אלהא דצר עוברא בכריסא דאימיה‏  God who formed the fetus in its mother's womb.  TgIChron 13:14 : וילידן תמניא תמניא בכריסא חד‏  the eight gave birth to eight from a single womb.
