  white poplar  JLAtg, PTA.  TgJ Hos4:13 : וֻתחוֹת בַלֻוט וֻלבָן וֻבֻוטמָא  and beneath oaks, poplars, and terebinths.  TN Gen30:37 : ונסב לי׳ יעקב חטרא דלבן/דפרח לבן/ רטיב ודלוז ְ  Jacob took a stick of moist poplar (var. white flower) and one of almond-wood.
