מְשַׁמֶּשׁ‏ n.m. attendant

attendant, servitor JLAtg, Gal, PTA, Sam, JBA, LJLA. TgJ Jud16:21tos : משמש ערסן‏ attendant of beds. TgJ Ez45:5 : וִיהֵי לְלֵיוָאֵי מְשַמְשֵי בֵיתָא‏ it should belong to the Levites, the Temple attendants. TN Num11:28 : משמשה/שמש׳/ דמשה‏ . PJ Deut10:14 : שמיא ושמי שמיא וכיתי מלאכיא דבהון למשמשין קדמוי‏ the heavens and highest heavens and the ranks of angels in them to be attendants before Him.
