מַשְׁקוּלָה‏ n.f. plummet; scale

plummet (weight) JLAtg, LJLA. TgJ Is34:11 : וְיִתנְגִיד עְלַה חוּט דְחָרבָנָא וֻמַשקוּלתָא דְצַדיוּתָא‏ the measuring cord of destruction and the plummet of desolation shall be stretched over it. TgJ Is44:13 : נַגָרָא אָעִין נָפֵיץ בְחוּטָא מָסַר לֵיה בְמַשקֻלתָא‏ the carpenter measures wood with a coord a saws it using a plummet (i.e. in straight lines). TgLamYemWT 2:8 : סאט משקולתא‏ He swung the plummet.
