מַגְבִּי‏ n.f. tribute

tribute JLAtg. TgJ 2K23:33 : וֻרמָא מַגבִיתָא עַל עַמָא דְאַרעָא מְאָה כַכרֵי כַספָא וְכַכרָא דַהבָא‏ he imposed a tribute of 100 talents of silver and a talent of gold on the people of the land. TgJ Is3:6 : רָב תְהֵי עְלַנָא וֻמַגבִיתָא הָדָא תְהֵי תְחוֹת יְדָך‏ be chief over us and this tribute will be under your control.
