מְלַח מִלְחָא   n.f.  salt


  salt  Com.  GenApoc 21.16 : י֗מא רבא דן די מלחא  this great sea of salt.  TgO Gen19:26 : וַהוָת קָמָא דִמלַח  she became a pillar of salt.  TN Gen14:3 : ימה דמלחה.  TgEsth2 3:3(5) : במזופיתי׳ שוי טעם מוי כמלחא וריחא דגלגלוי כחמר׳  in his wrath He made its water's taste like salt and its waves' odor like wine.
