  a tax  BAEzra, Syr.  Ezra 4:13 : מִנְדָּה־בְלוֹ וַהֲלָךְ‏ .  Ezra 6:8 : וּמִנִּכְסֵי מַלְכָּא דִּי מִדַּת עֲבַר נַהֲרָה‏  out of the royal income of the m-tax of Trans-Euphratia.
