מַפְתֵּחַ   n.m.  key


  key  Jud, JLAtg, Gal, PTA, CPA, Sam, JBA, LJLA.  TgJ Jud3:25 : וְאוֹרִיכוּ עַד סַגִי וְהָא לָיְתוֹהִי פָתַח דַשֵי עִלִיתָא וֻנסִיבוּ יָת מַפתְחָא וֻפתַחוּ  they waited a very long time but look he was not opening privy's door, so they took the key and opened it.  TN Gen30:22 : מפתחא דמטרא ומפתחא דפרנסתא ומפת<<חי>> דקבריה ומפתחא דעקרתא  the key of rain, livelihood, burial, and sterility.  PJ Deut28:12 : ארבעא מפתחי בידי דמרי עלמא דלא מסרינון בידא דטיפסרא  there are four keys in the possession of the Lord of the World that he did not hand over to the control of the major-domo.
