מְרַחַּק   adj.  unclean; distant


  unclean, abominable  JLAtg, PTA, LJLA.  TgO Lev19:7 : וְאִם אִתאְכָלָא יִתאְכֵיל בְיוֹמָא תְלִיתָאָה מְרַחַק הוּא לָא יְהֵי לְרַעְוָא  should it in fact be eaten on the third day then it is unclean and will not be acceptable.  TN Deut12:31 : ארום כל דמרחק קדם ייי די סני ורחיק עבדו לטעוותהון  because everything which is abominable before the Lord, which he hates, they have done to their idols.  PJ Lev19:23 : תלת שנין יהי לכון מרחק  it will be unclean for you for three years. discarded as too unclean (?)  JLAtg.  TgJ Is64:5 : וַהְוֵינָא כִמסָאַב כוּלַנָא וֻכִלבוּש מְרַחַק כָל זָכְוָתַנָא  we were all like something unclean and like discarded clothing all our meritorious acts.
