מַחְלְקָה‏ n.f. division, class

division, class BA^Ezra. Ezra 6:18 : וַהֲקִימוּ כָהֲנַיָּא בִּפְלֻגָּתְהוֹן וְלֵוָיֵא בְּמַחְלְקָתְהוֹן עַל־עֲבִידַת אֱלָהָא‏ they apppointed the priests by their divisions and the levites by their classes for God's service †.
