קַדְמוּתָא‏ adv. in the first place

in the first place JLAtg. TgO Gen33:2 : וְשַוִי יָת לְחֵינָתָא וְיָת בְנֵיהוֹן קַדמוּתָא וְיָת לֵאָה וֻבנַהָא בָתְרָאִין‏ he put the concubines and their children first and Leah and her children afterwards. TgO Gen38:28 : וֻקטַרַת עַל יְדֵיה זְהוֹרִיתָא לְמֵימַר דֵין נְפַק קַדמוּתָא‏ she tied a scarlet cord on his hand to indicate that this one came out first.
