קַלָּע‏ n.m. #4 slinger

slinger JLAtg, Syr, LJLA. TgJ 2Sam8:18 : וֻבנָיָה בַר יְהוֹיָדָע מְמֻנַא עַל קַשָתַיָא וְעַל קַלָעַיָא‏ PN was appointed over the bowmen and the slingers. TgIChron 18:17 : ועל מימר פומיה הוון קשתייה וקלעיה נחתין לקרבא‏ at his mouth's command the bowmen and slingers would go down to the battle.
