שְׂעָרָה‏ n.f. #2 hair

Qum. שׂערה‏ and emph. pl. שׂערתא‏; otherwise the pl. is שׂערין‏ as with other such singulatives

strand of hair Qumran, PTA, Syr, JBA. TN Gen44:19 : חמא דנפקין שערתיה מלביה ובזעו לבושיה‏ he saw that the strands of hair were sticking out of his chest and split his shirt.
