סָהִד סָהֲדָא‏ n.m. witness

witness Com. 4QEn^g1.4.12 : ל֗שהדי֗ קשט‏ as truthful witnesses. TN Gen38:25 : ובעת תלתא סהדי‏ she sought her! three witnesses. PJ Gen9:6 : דישוד דמא דאינשא בסהדין דיינייא מחייבין ליה קטול‏ whoever sheds a person's blood, judges find him worthy of execution through witnesses.
