סַף סִפָּא‏   n.m.  threshold


  threshold  OfAGen, JLAtg, Syr, JBA, Man, LJLA.  TgJ Jud19:27 : וְהָא אִתְתָא לְחֵינְתֵיה רָמיָא בִתרָע בֵיתָא וִידַהָא מַחְתָן עַל סִפָא‏  there was his concubine-wife lying thrown down at the house's entrance with her hands fallen on the threshold.  TgTosPr Isaiah.66:1 : עד דמלי ית ירושלם ספא בספא‏  until it filled Jerusalem threshold after threshold.

  doorpost  JLAtg, Syr, JBA, Man, LJLA.  TgO Ex12:22 : וְתַדוֹן לְשָקְפָא וְלִתרֵין סִיפַיָא‏  you should sprinkle it on the lintel and the two doorposts.  PJ Ex12:7 : ויתנון על תרין סיפייא ועילוי אסקופא עילאה מלבר‏  place it on the two doorposts and above the upper lintel outside.
