סוּמְפֹּנְיָה   n.f.  symphony: a wind instrument


  symphony: a wind instrument  BADan, LJLA.  Dan3:5 : קַרְנָא מַשְׁרוֹקִיתָא קַתְרוֹס סַבְּכָא פְּסַנְתֵּרִין סוּמְפֹּנְיָה וְכֹל זְנֵי זְמָרָא  the horn, the pipe, the zither, the lyre, the harp, the symphony and all musical instruments.  TgJ Ez28:13tos : ומלאכיא שוורן קדמוהי בתופין ובסמפונין  with angels jumping about before him with timbrels and symphonies.  TgTosPr Ezek.28:13 .

Greek, but the precise referent of the term in BA (and its quotation in LJLA) remains unclear.
