תְּחוּם   n.m.  border; territory; definition


  border, boundary  Com.  GenApoc 16.17 : ואזל תחומא דן כעין מן לשנ֗א֗ ד֗ן  this border proceeds like a fountain(?) from this bay.  PJ Gen10:19 : תחום כנענאי. territory within such a border  Palmyrene, JLAtg, Gal, PTA, Syr, LJLA.  TgO Ex7:27 : הָאְנָא מָחֵי יָת כֹל תְחוּמָך בְעוּרדְעָנַיָא  I am going to plague your entire territory with frogs.  TN Gen14:7 : וקטלו ית כל תחומהון דעמלקיא  they killed the entire territory of the Amalekites.  PJ Gen23:17 : כל אילנא דבחקלא דבכל תחומי<ה> חזור חזור  every tree of the field that is in all of its territory all around. border marker  JLAtg, PTA, Syr, LJLA.  TgO Deut27:17 : לִיט דִישַנֵי תְחוּמָא דְחַברֵיה  cursed be one who changes his friend's border marker.  TN Deut27:17 : תחומה דגברא.  PJ Deut27:17 : ליט דישני תחומא דחבריה.
