תְּיוּבָה   n.f.  repentance


  repentance  JLAtg, Gal, JBA, LJLA.  TgJ Jer4:1 : תִתקַבַל תְיוּבתָך עַד לָא תִתחַתַם גְזֵירְתָך  your repentance will be accepted as long as your decree is not sealed.  PJ Gen4:24 : קין ד{ה}ב ותב בתיובא  Cain who was guilty but repented.  PJ Ex40:7 : חוביא דהדרין בתיובא  the sinners who turn back in repentence. refutation  JBA, JBAg, LJLA.  TgJob32:3 : ובתלת חברוהי תקף רוגזיה מטול דלא אשכחו תיובתא  His wrath was strong against his three friends because they had not found a refutation.
