חַבָּל‏ n.m. destroyer

destroyer JLAtg, PTA, Syr, BabMBK, Man. TgO Ex12:23var. : וְלָא יִשבוֹק מְחַבְלָא/לחבלא/ לְמֵיעַל לְבָתֵיכוֹן‏ He will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses †. TN Num17:11 : שרי חבלה מחבל בעמא‏ the destroyer began destroying among the people.
