חַסְחוּסִין‏ n.m.pl. cartilage

esp. of the ear LJLA. PJ Ex29:20 : ותיסב מן אדמיה ותיתן על חסחוס אודנא דאהרן דימינא ועל חסחוס אודנא דבנוי דימינא‏ you should take some of its blood and put it on the cartilage of Aaron’s right ear and on that of his sons’ right ear.
