חַסִּיר‏ adj. lacking, deficient

lacking, deficient Com. Dan5:27 : תְּקִילְתָּה בְמֹאזַנְיָא וְהִשְׁתְּכַחַתְּ חַסִּיר‏ you have been weighed in the balance and found to be deficient †. TgO Lev22:23 : וְתוֹר וְאִימַר יַתִיר וְחַסִיר‏ . PJ Lev22:23 : ותור ואימר יתיר כוליא או דחסיר כוליא‏ an ox or sheep with an extra kidney or lacking a kidney. l_ : to lack Com. TgO Deut15:8 : וְאוֹזָפָא תוֹזְפִינֵיה כְמִסַת חוּסרָנֵיה דְחַסִיר לֵיה‏ you must surely lend him his deficiency that he lacks. TgProv21:17 : גברא דחסיר ליה‏ . yattīr (w)ḥassīr : more or less JLAtg, Syr. TgO Lev22:23 : וְתוֹר וְאִימַר יַתִיר וְחַסִיר‏ an ox or sheep lacking or excessive (i.e. something is missing or something is extra, probably testicles: see BT Bechoroth 40a).
