חְזִי חְזִיתָא   n.m. #5  appearance; facet

appearance  JLAtg, JBA, Man.  TgJ 1Sam16:7 var. : לָא תסתכיל בחזיתיה  do not look at his appearance.

  (stone) corner or facet: see also s.v. ˀbn ḥzy  JLAtg.  TgJ 1K7:5 : חָזֵי/זוֹי/ לָקֳבֵיל חָזֵי תְלָת זִמנִין  one facet facing the other three times.  TgJ Zec3:9 : אַבנָא דִיהַבִית קְֹדָם יְהוֹשֻעַ עַל אַבנָא חֲדָא שִבעָה חָזיָן לַה הֲאֲנָא גָלֵי חָזיָתַה  the stone I set before PN: there are seven (hidden?) facets on one stone and I am about to uncover its facets †.

watchtower (?)  Qumran, JLAtg.  TgJ Is23:13 : אְקִימוּ חַזְיָתַהָא פַגַרוּ בִירָניָתַהָא שַוְיוּהָא לְדִמחַמרָא  they erected its watch-towers (in a siege?), destroyed its fortresses, and made it into a ruined place.

JLA abs. חָזֵי (mng. 2), is probably a late error in a passage that was rarely understood properly within Jewish tradition, although the targumist did understand it.
For Qumran see s.v. ˀbn ḥzy.
