  a weight (half shekel)  Com-OA-BA.  11QtgJob 35.3=40:24 : [٠٠٠ ]זו֗זיא כטינא יסגא  if] he makes half-shekels as numerous as clay.  TgJ 1Sam9:8 : הָא אִשתְכַח בִידִי זוּזָא חַד דְכַספָא  here there is a single zwz [MT: רֶבַע שֶׁקֶל !] of silver in my possesion.  TgIChron 29:7 : דהבא קנטינרין חמשא אלפין וזוזין עשרא אלפין  five thousand hundred-weights and ten thousand zuz of gold. coin, drachma  Palmyrene, JPAEpig, Gal, PTA, Syr, JBA, Man.  TN Gen20:16 : לף זוזין.  GT Gen37:28(5) : ٠٠٠יו]סף לסרקאי בעשרין זוזין דכסף  [they sold] Joseph to the Saracens for 20 silver coins.  TgIChron 29:7 : דהבא קנטינרין חמשא אלפין וזוזין עשרא אלפין  five thousand hundred-weights of gold and ten thousand zuz.

From Akkadian zūzu, "half shekel", but note that in the cited JLA passage it renders MT "quarter-shekel".
