פריון   n.m.  garden/bridal chamber

  garden/bridal chamber  LJLA.

The targumist is being splendidly playful here, even more so than usual. By choosing this form, all of the following literary and lexical allusions are covered with one fell swoop: the source BH term ‏‏גַּנָּתוֹ and both its content and its similarity to גנון, "bridal chamber;" and the form פורינא, "bridal litter" and its BH cognate ‏אַפִּרְיוֹן and its context in Song of Songs 3:9. All of this play is echoed in (or echoes) PsJon Dt.32:50: אתקין ליה פוריינא וקטר ליה גננא בגוי;. See also s.v. פורין #2.
