סְגֵי סֻגְיָא   n.m.  large amount, multitude

large amount, multitude  JLAtg, Gal, PTA, CPA, Sam, Syr, LJLA.

  majority  Gal, PTA.

used adverbially  Syr, LJLA. מִסגֵי, מן סגי‏ : due to the large number  JLAtg, PTA, LJLA. לִסגֵי‏, בִסגֵי‏ : in large amounts, numerous  JLAtg, LJLA.

In the adverbial expression bisgē, the usage corresponds rather to Syriac bsaggī (see s.v. sgy adj.); thus the vocalization tradition of JLA may be considered somewhat suspicious.
