תַּכְבַּר   n.m.  stuffed, roasted lamb

  stuffed, roasted lamb  JLAtg.

The origin of this unique and unusual word is obscure. If from the root kbr then perhaps simply "a dish that takes a long time to prepare." The popular etymology of the rabbinic sources (i.e. תוך "inside" + בר "outside") cannot be taken seriously.
