CAL CODE HELP

This display reflects an early draft manuscript of Sokoloff's A Dictionary of Jewish Palestinian Aramaic, first edition. For additions and corrections in the second printed edition, please view our online text here. A third edition (2017) is now available, but it lacks the very valuable indexes of the earlier ones. They are available online, however (see the "CONTENTS" page of that edition).

Dalm, Gr 118. For add. exx. in PT, v. CTY 2:858+. For a poss. SA cogoner, v. LOT 3/2 79:4, note. On usage b.2, cf. Schulthess, Gr 85 and No=ld, SG 170. Note that דיד is not used with declinable nouns. There seems to be only one ex. of a pleonastic usage (משמיה דידיה Ber 13a(54); but Ms.V: בשם גרמיה ) and so - even though this usage is attested in other A dialects (e.g. Schulthess, ib.; No=ld, ib.) - it seems to be absent from JPA.
