  Syr. ˁEdṫāˀ , pl.ˁEḏātāˀ, sg. pronounced ˁēttā (west: ˁīttā).


1  assembly  OfAEg, Syr. (a) specifically, as witnesses  OfAEg. TAD B3.8 R.21 : מחר או יום אחרן יקום ענניה בעדה  should PN arise in testamentary assembly at any future time.

2  congregation  PTA, Sam, Syr, LJLA. TN Ex16:2 : כל עדת כנישתא דבני ישראל.
